Securely mount strut channel systems to wood framing with this heavy-duty Truss Head Lag Screw Mounting Kit. Designed specifically for ceiling joists, wall studs, and structural wood members, this kit provides a strong, low-profile fastening solution for a wide range of strut channel installations.
The oversized truss head distributes clamping force over a larger area than standard lag screws, while the included 1-inch outside diameter stainless steel washer helps protect mounting surfaces and provides additional load distribution. The T40 star drive allows for high torque installation with reduced risk of cam-out compared to traditional hex or Phillips drive fasteners.
The lag screw features a durable yellow zinc-plated finish that provides corrosion resistance for indoor applications, making it ideal for garages, workshops, storage areas, and utility spaces.
